Quick and Dirty Update
  1. Make sure you exit Atomic Wallet portable cleanly—check that no PortableApps.comLauncherRuntimeData-AtomicWalletPortable.ini file in the Data folder.
  2. If that INI file is still there then:
    1. check with Task Manager if it's still running → end it from Task Manager,
    2. if you can't find it in Task Manager, then it might be crashed on the last run,
    3. run the portable launcher once to trigger the the auto-cleanup feature,
    4. check that the PortableApps.comLauncherRuntimeData-AtomicWalletPortable.ini file is really gone, if not then repeat from step 2.a.
  3. Get the latest Atomic Wallet release.
  4. Delete all contents of your current App\atomicwallet folder.
  5. Using 7-Zip, extract $PLUGINSDIR\app-64.7z\ folder contents from the installer to the now empty App\atomicwallet folder.
  6. Done.
