Deluge Portable, a peer-to-peer file sharing program utilizing the BitTorrent protocol!
"I had been using utorrent for years but then they started to force ads in the free version so... I have been using Deluge for a week or so and this is going to be my new client. It has everything I am" —jk2345 (a user), (Dec 2014)
"It's better than transmission because ... to see details info in transmission, we have to click more!" —thjbd, (Jan 2013)
"The best argument I can imagine is the lack of any kind of problems. It's really stable and it incorporates a huge number of options." —Silviu Stahie, (March 27th, 2013)
Deluge is a full-featured BitTorrent client for Linux, OS X, Unix and Windows. It uses libtorrent in its backend and features multiple user-interfaces including: GTK+, web and console.
Deluge was created with the intention of being lightweight and unobtrusive; that downloading shouldn't be the primary task on your computer and therefore shouldn't monopolize system resources.
Deluge is Free Software and is licensed under the GNU General Public License.

Portability Notes

  • Deluge would've been 100% portable if not for a non essential file written by its GTK+ framework while running.
  • Make sure it exits cleanly before plugging out your thumbdrive.
