Tablacus Explorer Portable, a tabbed file manager with Add-on support!
"Tablacus Explorer is fine for simple tabbed browsing, but a horrible configuration interface and total lack of documentation mean its more advanced features are very hard to figure out." —Mike Williams, PCAdvisor.co.uk (22 Aug 2016)
"Tablacus Explorer moves quite fast without eating up too much CPU and memory. The multi-tabbed environment is clearly one of its strongest advantages, as you don’t need to keep different Windows Explorer panels opened. ... The configuration settings are still hard to tweak even with the online tips, so less experienced users are likely to spend extra time trying to decode their meaning." —Ana Marculescu, Softpedia.com (February 24th, 2015 16:31 GMT)
"It is better than window explorer. Easy to use. Interface divisible in 2 or 3 or 4 part to browse better among folders." —capitanflorius (a user), download.CNET.com (February 13, 2013)
Tablacus Explorer is a tabbed file manager. It includes extensibility add-ons, customizable association, menus, keys, mouse gestures, and alias. You can save the configuration to XML. It supports multiple language and Unicode.

Our Takes

Cool multi-tab File Explorer. No administrator privilege required—unlike Clover. No dependencies: C++, .NET, nothing. Extremely light. A must have for your thumbdrive or computer!

Portability Notes

The official Tablacus Explorer is already 100% portable, we only separate its data from the application folder.
